More Chris' B-Day and Happy Hour
The theme of September's Happy Hour was Chris' B-Day. All I can say: lucky Chris, he had basically 3 B-Day events!
We took the Architectural Cocktail Cruise on the Chicago river. The views were amazing and the drinks were not bad either! Unfortunately we couldn't go on the lake due to bad conditions... and I really wanted to go :-(
But it was fun anyway!

Chris' "official" Birthday
For Chris' other B-Day event Chris, Nic (his brother) and me participated in a canoe race. Here is the ranking....
"Out of the 70 people in our class, we placed 59.
Place Name Boat # Time Pace
59 Chris 108 2:52:10.2 23:45/M"
Well, we ate Dairy Queen Dilly Bars during the race and enjoyed Chicago views from the river! Well, maybe those are all excuses...
Korean BBQ
... for Chris B-Day, even though he didn't want to announce it like that. Kelly, Bryan (the crazy half Korean) and me went to a Korean BBQ place on Lincoln Ave, can't remember the name, 3 words, the last one was "OK". However, it was an experience and picky Alex was not too happy about the food and how you smell afterwards...
But it was a fun night!

My House
So, finally the first picture of my house... We live on the 3rd floor (2nd floor for the Europeans), however it is the top floor of the building. My room used to be the left small window above the entrance but as Jessica moved in I moved to the other room in the back. But I can still see downtown and the Sears Tower from my window.

Niagara Falls!
After a 6 hour drive we finally made it to Niagara Fall. Amazing views but I heard its even better from the Canadian side. Well, we couldn't go - or better we were not sure if we were able to return to the US, so we decided not to go. We also had to hurry, we had another 11 hours to drive to Chicago ahead of us. That was actually really hard. I am glad we made it there safely! We both had to go straight to work after driving forever and sleeping very little, but it was absolutly worth it!
Partying in the Hamptons
Crazy but cool parties in the Hamptons. People do everything to the extreme. The first party had a 200 ft. long table with lots of food. The house had a squasch court inside... The second party was even better. A huge propoerty with a huge tent, a dance floor, open bar, ice cream, mini club sandwiches and the most amazing thing: they shuttled the people with golf carts from the main street to the location!
