leaving chicago...

hey everybody,

unfortunately my time in chicago is over... :( i am already waiting at newark airport for my connecting flight to berlin.
of course i will miss you all who are still in chicago but i am also looking forward to see my "berliner"! mixed emotions...

don't ask about the luggage situation, most of you know me... of course i could't take everything and i was 1 lb. away from paying for overweight... haha! now i am carrying a 20-25 lbs bag on the plane, plus 2 laptops, a purse and myself... but i don't weigh that much so it's gonna be fine!

i am so happy that gina gave me a ride and that rainer will pick me up in berlin... thank you soooo much! one of my suitcases can't even stand by itself anymore. it has overweight to the front because i packed way to many things in there... next time i will try to travel with one suitcase to the states and maybe take 2 suitcases back.

Bears fever

The Chicago Bears were in the Super Bowl, Chicago went crazy, blue and orange all over....
Ingrid actually went to the beach and took those awesome picture! she was so brave to go there, i couldn't have done it, it was way too cold! i was even scared to leave the house on monday for the office... i finally made it with tons of layers!
